SUPER 600 NATIONALS FORMAT 9/28-9/29

2012 Version of the Super 600 Nationals will use the Trophy Cup format again. This format made for great racing with our Saturday Main winner coming from 16th. Every position on the track is important. This year it is $3000 to win overall points (34 cars).

Super 600 Nationals Car Requirements: $175 ENTRY FEE

Stock Legal Car Weight limit is 750 and can use in car wing slider

Super 600: Stock bore super 600 legal 770 pounds, +1mm 780, +2 790

Each night will have its own main event with its own payout, but the Overall Points Winner is where the money is. It makes for exciting racing the entire two nights.

SUPER 600 DRAFT FORMAT. WILL BE ADJUSTED BASED ON CAR COUNTS
FRIDAY NIGHT:
QUALIFYING: Pea Pick for order. 150 points given for fast time and minus 1 for every position thereafter (example. 2nd =149, 3rd=-148).

2 NON-QUALIFIER HEATS (cars positioned outside heat spots): 8 laps, NQ 1 odd cars , NQ 2 Even cars, Etc… 16 points for 1st place and -2 points per position thereafter. All cars to Friday D main. Racing for Points only.

4 QUALIFIER HEATS: 10 laps, Each heat race lined up with top 6 cars inverted by points. 36 points for the heat winner. -3 points for every position thereafter. 1st thru 3rd in each heat to Friday main. 4th thru 6th to Friday B. 7th and below to Friday C.

We will run D mains based on the number of cars. Up to 42 cars 1 D main event. 10 laps line up according to points straight up. No Points awarded. Top 2 cars transfer to Friday C main.

C MAIN: 12 laps, Lined up straight up by points. Top 6 cars transfer to Friday B main. No points awarded.

B MAIN: 20 Laps, line up according to points with top 6 inverted. Top 8 awarded no points, but transfer to Friday Main. 50 points for 9th and -2 per position thereafter.

A MAIN: 30 laps. Line up according to points with top 12 cars inverted. 100 points for 1st. -2 points per position thereafter.

SATURDAY NIGHT
6 HEATS: 10 laps, all cars inverted by points. 36 points given to 1st place. -3 points every position thereafter. Racing for points only.

TRANSFERS: Top 20 in points transfer to Saturday A Main. 21st through TBD to the B main, plus 3 transfers from each Saturday D to the Saturday C Main.

We will run Saturday D mains determined by car count.

D MAIN: 10 Laps, line up according to points straight up. Top 3 finishers to Saturday C main. No points awarded.

C MAIN: 15 Laps, Line up according to points straight up. Top 4 to Saturday B main. No points awarded.

B MAIN: 20 Laps, line up according to points straight up with top 6 inverted. Top 4 finishers to A Main. No points awarded.

A MAIN: 40 Laps, 24 Cars line up according to points with a COMPLETE INVERSION. 150 points awarded to 1st place. -5 points per position thereafter.

The driver with the most points after the Saturday will be the overall point champion and receive the winners share of the points purse. In case of a tie, fastest time will take preference.
